Neuer, is he doing the right thing?

This will probably be a short post, but it's all over the news in                              Switzerland and Germany so I will tell you what is going on and my criticism.  I said it was all over the news, I'm the news too, I should review too.

                                                       WHAT HAPPENED?

Manuel Neuer is the keeper of Schalke 04, he has been with the club since he was a kid and was there for almost 20 years. He's an amazing keeper and was already being scouted by teams anyway, but now those teams don't have to pay as much as they should Schalke for their No.1 keeper. The reason is Manuel Neuer held a press conference explaining that he will not be extending his contract at Schalke, with tears in  his eyes he walks away. His exact words were:"I made
this decision without any influence from outside. The decision had nothing to the coaching change, or with anyone else. After 20 years of loyalty, I want to keep my options open for a change. I have a contract until 2012 and I was aware of what I was doing when I signed it. Horst Heldt has now informed me of the interest of Bayern, so it's possible that I could leave earlier, but that is a question for the club and I will not be decide that alone. I want to make the next big step. I want to play regularly at the highest level. That's the Champions League." The interview goes on for a little bit more, but I showed the important part.

                                                           WHERE SHOULD HE GO?

Neuer is a talented player and could go far, I don't think he'll go to Spain because he wouldn't make it at Real Madrid or Barcelona and he would be taking a step back if he would go to another team in Spain, so that's definitely out of the picture.

Italy likes to buy expensive players, especially AC Milan so they might try. If Neuer is smart like I think he is, he won't take that job because I think Milan is unstable and Italian leagues don't have the needed atmosphere that England, Germany or even Spain have, also Napoli is coming and so is Udinese so they might overtake the Milanese teams in some years time.

Germany has the atmosphere and teams that want him but I think it would disappoint Schalke if he played against them, Bayern wants him though that could change the whole situation, but again Bayern hasn't had a coach that would keep winning and lose one season and win the next. In his article it says he wants to play regular CL so Bayern isn't the right place for that.

The only country left is England and that's the country I choose, they have great atmosphere, Arsenal and Manchester United want him, they both play regular CL and don't have a keeper. It's the perfect place for him to go. With Arsenal he would most likely have a hard time winning the CL, but Manchester United have Van der Sar retiring, need a keeper and get into the CL final a lot.

My personal opinion on Real Madrid

As a critic I like to criticize teams or players and here's a team I'd love to criticize. Real madrid has the leading record for Champions League wins with 9 cups, but they won't be winning anything very important (Spanish League, CL). The team is full of people I think are idiots, so this will be a blast.

                                                                                                       Josè Mourinho (Real Madrid coach)
Jose Mourinho - Inter Mailand (6).jpg
                                                                 The coach

Mourinho has an excuse for everything, when they lost 2-0 against Barcelona he said the referee sucked, which isn't completely untrue he did make a mistake or two, but Mourinho wouldn't stop, he said mean things about Guardiola and the whole team. This man can't lose he's a like a little kid, he shoots a penalty, his shot doesn't even hit the target and then he said "I want a replay, it was the wind that pushed the ball next to the goal". He always makes excuses, their is not a man that is such a piece of crap, he can't handle criticism, but criticizes everybody else. The reason he doesn't win isn't because Barcelona was cheating or the referee was unfair, ultimately it comes down to the technique of his team, clearly they aren't great, but I will talk about them later. Mourinho said Messi should of been sent off because of a small bump to Sergio Ramos' knee, which Ramos didn't even notice. Mourinho is to selfish to admit that his team had no chance, he doesn't want to admit that Messi  is a god which he should.

                                                                 The team

                                                                                                             Real Madrid team picture
The team is definitely good, but not as good as Barcelona, Chelsea or Manchester United. The reason they don't succeed is because they make these dumb actions and know can read the game and play the right passes, they don't have a lot of experience, if they do it's experience from a bad defender. Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player but he's a self-involved, selfish, obnoxious guy and that is not good. The players sometimes aren't even good enough for the standards of Real Madrid, some players like Carvalho aren't good enough. I will get back to the biggest reason they don't do that great for Madrid's usual standards, the dumb actions

The dumb actions are just seriously idiotic, it's not only on the pitch, for example Sergio Ramos let the Copa del Rey fall under the team bus, dumb action. On the field they have mistakes to. Very small ones like a bad pass, harmless right, no wrong, when you turn around the ball is in the net and you just conceded one goal. Bigger mistakes are bad to.

Another bad problem is the team doesn't fit together, they don't know each other that well, so when Higuain wants a pass down the line, you might give a pass in his feet, Xavi once mentioned that you need to know your team-mates if you want to be successful in an interview, that's a big problem at Real Madrid to. With not knowing each other, you don't know who gets the spotlight, so everyone wants and tries to dribble alone, then it turns into a giant chaos.

That is my critic on Real Madrid.

PS: Remember Feyenoord RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(One) London Derby

One of the London Derby's is Arsenal-Tottenham Hotspur, since I'm a critic, it is my job to criticize games or whatever, so I will criticize that derby because I think it's amazing that Tottenham can't beat Blackpool
but can tie against Arsenal, in Arsenal's case: How can they beat Manchester Untied, but not someone who loses to Blackpool. The criticism begins below:

Result:           Tottenham Hotspur            3-3         Arsenal

                                                                0-1   5.   Walcott
                                7.   Van der Vaart    1-1
                                                                1-2  12.   Nasri
                                                                1-3  40.   Van Persie
                              44.   Huddlestone      2-3
                              70.   Van der Vaart    3-3

                                                            ARSENAL SLIP-UPS

Arsenal actually went up by two goals and for a team that has expectations, that can't happen. They had that happen against Tottenham Hotspur in their first game against each other in the season when they were up 2-0 and lost 2-3, don't forget their sloppy performance against Newcastle, as they were cruising 4-0 after half an hour they still managed to tie that game at 4-4, I'm not kidding! If they wouldn't have lost those points they would be first place right now, it's not like they didn't have a chance so actually Arsenal has to be first if their going to play at a high level. Arsenal player Francesc Fabregas even said if Arsène Wenger were a coach in Spain he would be sacked because he never wins anything.

                                                            WENGER PROBLEM

I think the problem is that Wenger's choices on who to buy until now were alright: They all have loads of quality, but have you noticed that they don't play all the games because their tired, for example Andrei Arshavin, he did play 34 games, (which are not all the games, but still a lot) doesn't start a lot of them and doesn't finish a lot of them which means when he goes in the other player was in the game, all over it, really concentrated and when Arshavin comes in he still needs to adjust himself to the game, the same thing happens when he comes out just the other way around. The team has a hole because the guy still needs to adjust himself, that way the team is more vulnerable and has a bigger chance of conceding a goal, it's not only Arshavin it's also Rosicky, Squillaci is also a bit old, their are lots more that can be counted up. The problem is you have only got 3 substitution options and you have more players that need a brake, so to the three substitutes that make the team vulnerable you can add all the tired players. The reason this has to do with transfers is because he buys guys like that. If I were Arsène Wenger I would try to sell these guys and buy young players with a lot of endurance like off the top of my head I would say he could replace Arshavin with M'Vila.

Yann M'Vila

                                             TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

I've only been talking about Arsenal, so now it's Tottenham's turn, there's not much to say about them, I mean they are the ones that came back aren't they, but the question is how did they go behind by two twice against Arsenal and why did they come back, it's weird. It could be that Arsenal was the main reason about vulnerability and Tottenham were playing the same throughout the game, still I think there's
a different reason.

                                                          SLIP-UPS

For the first thing Tottenham slips-up as hard as Arsenal a lot and I think it has to do with the quality of the team, Gomes has messed up THREE times this season and he's the keeper, so when he messes up it's goal, I also think the croatian players Krancjar and Corluka are way overrated, I mean seriously they have no quality at all. Van der Vaart and Bale are amazing players and score a lot, but need to pass the ball a bit more. Crouch is not good and not bad and is not smart and does a lot of dumb things.

                                                     COMEBACK

I think they made a comeback because they like the pressure and excitement, that's why they have their slip-ups, they don't see the action against Wigan and aren't motivated, but when it comes to Arsenal it's a top 6 match and a London Derby, so how can you not be pressured or excited? The other reason is they have a coach that knows what to do when their down and could definitely use a goal, he uses the right players and also already has players on the field that stage comebacks a lot, they have a way of thinking positive the whole time and they don't let their heads hang down just because they conceded a goal.

I have now criticized Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur,
and remember that soccer is the best sport in the world.

Fake fans!

Today I'm writing my first blog, I used to have another blog so I have experience, but now let's get to the story.
Last Sunday was the second last game in the Eredivisie and the team I route for every week is Feyenoord.(I seriously go crazy for Feyenoord, I am in the Carribean, but I have a computer and put up three scoreboards that follow the game live). That Sunday Feyenoord was playing the team that is second from the bottom with 18 points, their name VVV-Venlo. Feyenoord is or rather was in the running for an Europa League play-off spot. The rankings that are important in this case looked like this:

     Team                     Points                          +/-

8. FC Utrecht *            44                            49-47
9. Heracles Almelo       43                            60-55
10. Feyenoord              43                            50-50

* Europa League play-off spot

The game Feyenoord is playing should be an easy win, especially when they beat second placed PSV the week before, clearly that didn't end up as it should, they lost 3-2. That puts them in a position where they have to hope Heracles Almelo loses and they have to get a better goal difference, meaning Feyenoord has to
score come back and score 6,5,4,3,2 or 1 goal determined by what Heracles Almelo does. They all have to play at the same time on the last Matchday, so Feyenoord has to shoot as many goals as possible.

This really made me angry and I started ranting at myself thinking "Why isn't Feyenoord a team like Barcelona or Manchester United or even Liverpool in their "Glory days"?", but then I realized if you're a real fan then you don't move to the next team every time your old one loses.

That's what this post is about, fake fans. You live your life and then once in a while you have a soccershirt on and you say hi to a guy sitting next to you in cafe, then he says " You know I'm a fan of Barcelona, I'm guessing that's your favorite team, Feye.........noord, who are they?" With that you already know he's a fake fan, he acts as if he was the biggest fan in the world but he probably just checks the scores once in a while and went to a game 3 years ago. It's something different if you say "Feyenoord, I know them, they won the Uefa Cup back in 02". You like this guy and chat to him some more and find out he's got 27 AC Milan shirts at home, now that's a fan. Not somebody you see in the  cafe every day saying "How's Barcelona?", when you try giving him an answer he doesn't know what you're talking about.

Fake fans shouldn't try to act real, because a real fan has a favorite team and he will stand by that team forever, so I was just happy there is more excitement routing for a team that I really like than routing for a team that you don't even really care about, and if they start losing then you think "Ehhh, Liverpool sucks, I'm a fan of Man. City now."

Feyenoord is a team that fills up their Stadium with 43'000 Feyenoord fans every week and has fans from japan, private investors who buy players for them, that's awesome even if the players do suck. That is a team that only has real fans and not idiots who are fake fans, and that's why even though I was so miserable I sat on the couch for 3 hours watching sports and then pretty much wanting to burn all my shirts of Feyenoord, wanting to punch Stefan De Vrij in his face because he made that stupid mistake that led to a goal, wanting to hit Tim De Cler because that guy sucks anyway and most of all I wanted to see a headline saying"Coach Mario Been has been sacked, sadly none of these things hapenned, after every game I think that when Feyenoord loses, but the next day I regain hope even under this circumstance because I love Feyenoord and am a real Fan and won't go wandering off to the next team.

I know one day Feyenoord will win the title again.

FEYENOORD IS AWESOME!!! I live by that rule.
